Hi, I am a New York based product and experience designer passionate about efficiency, data, & solving problems. Previously designed for Madhive, FortifID, Synergy, WeWork, Staples, Schuco.

I love simplifying processes and translating data into accessible visuals.  I embrace design systems, emerging technology, quantitative data, and user research interviews.  Previously, I was a founding designer for Schuco VCL, eventually becoming the Head of Visual Innovation pioneering interaction design for architectural virtual reality applications.

My freelance work thereafter has produced zero-to-one web and mobile platforms in FinTech and AdTech.  I am comfortable leading collaborative workshops, designing for scale, strategizing for market fit and the end-to-end user experience.  Feel free to reach out on LinkedIn or via email.

Lately, I have been listening to Dead Man’s Chest, daydreaming about Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, and snapping photos of my travels.  My blog explores hypotheses in sports, media, and the data of everyday life, framing them into sharable narratives, or chinfo.  From 2017-2022, I worked with EA Sports FIFA Data Collection in updating and analyzing metrics for MLS clubs NY Red Bulls and NYCFC.

What happened to relegated EPL teams that never returned?
December 13, 2023
Relegation is a brutal concept that shows just how hard it is to play at the top of English football.  Thirteen total franchises have been relegated from the English Premier League, and have yet to return to the highest tier of play.  Here are look at eight of them, showing their trajectory, time in the Premier League, and current placing in the English football pyramid.  (Wigan Athletic, Coventry City, Barnsley, Swindon Town, Wimbledon FC are the omitted teams)

How do A24 movies fare in the box office?
September 09, 2023
Initially, I was looking at ways to correlate quality of film with measurable revenue.  Here I’ve plotted all A24 film releases by their box office gross in USD millions and Rotten Tomato rating.  Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022), their most successful release, sits atop by a staggering amount.  It’s interesting to see acclaimed earlier films such as Ladybird (2017) or Moonlight (2016) not produce as well in the box office.

How does Immanuel Quickley compare to other young NBA point guards?
April 04, 2023
In his first season as Knicks head coach, Tom Thibodeau picked Immanuel Quickley 25th overall as New York's guard for the future.  Looking at how Quickley has developed over his 3 years speaks volumes about the defensive focus Thibs has instilled.  As his minutes increased year over year, Quickley's defense brought him from a negative net defender to plotting almost 2 defensive wins-above-replacement.  His average career stats put him at the 4th most valuable WAR for NBA guards with up to 4 years pro experience, trailing only Darius Garland, Ja Morant, and Tyrese Haliburton.

Could either of these two options become the USMNT center forward of the future?
March 28, 2023
Looking at player profiles and season-long heatmaps for Ricardo Pepi and Daryl Dike, two forwards of similiar build and age vying for the #9 role with the USMNT.  They seem to offer two completely different skillsets, with and without the ball.  From looking at Pepi’s heatmap, he offers more in transitional space and defense, whilst being rather clinical with his few finishes.  Pepi’s assist output is a byproduct of this thriving game in the middle to final third of the pitch.  Dike spends most of his time directly in the box, tracking back only on the wings and into a few central spaces.  A product of spending more time directly in the box gives Dike a staggering advantage in shots, non-penalty xG, and goals.

What could a COD: Warzone profile page look like?
August 20, 2020
As an active player of the Warzone game, it was interesting to find that there is a lack of profile page in the game’s current iteration.  There are no implementations for match history, squad stats, or any encompassing profile design.  Apart from a current leaderboard indicating only a few bare statistics for wins and KDA, this area is drastically lacking in the Warzone user interface.  I took the challenge to fill some of these holes with a redesigned profile, match history, and squad statistics pages utilizing their pre-existing design language and componentry.
