What happened to relegated EPL teams that…never returned?

Relegation is a brutal concept that shows just how hard it is to play at the top of English football. 

Thirteen total franchises have been relegated from the English Premier League, and have yet to return to the highest tier of play.  Here are look at eight of them, showing their trajectory, time in the Premier League, and current placing in the English football pyramid.
