Virtual Reality.

The creation of a virtual reality showroom for Schuco began in the Summer of 2017. Its original intent was to demonstrate the wide expanse of Schuco products to a variety of audiences. After attracting much interest, the VR Showroom became a more custom VR experience.

A variety of custom virtual reality modules were created to engage the user. Highly technical component blowouts were created for fabricators to understand the design, installation process, and individual components of a variety of Schuco products. Interactive windows, sliding systems, and doors for residential homes and commercial highrises were outfitted specifically for architects and homeowners. The users have the ability to view these products all in real world scale, swapping between appropriate systems for the residence. This interactive showroom gives you the chance to test the functionality of these various products with your own property in mind.

Here are a few videos and screenshots of select levels. The entire VR Experience was developed in Unreal Engine for the HTC Vive with room scale.

I wrote a blog post about the UI and UX involed in the creation of this virtual reality app.
